For me, music is self-help psychology. We learn from the stories contained within the songs of our youth, however subtle or obvious.. we take what we want from them. Sometimes I think I need messages which are a bit more in-my-face, as it were. These songs, like self-help postcards pinned to a wall, are some of those messages.
